late 1800s
those of you who know me, know that i get fixated on specific things.... ok, i obsess over them. I get into phases where i am absolutely intriged with a particular subject. Right now i'm entering a turn of the century phase. I've always liked the non-frilly victorian stuff, but now more than ever, my sketch book is filled withpictures of tophats, lamp posts, and capes... I've taken to looking online for the style of cape i want to sew (i've been talking about that forever) and i think i may try to make a top hat..... more to follow on this subject
life is swell
i had a good day on friday, i wrote my art test... easy...... and i got money.... $5 for marking the fill in the blanks on the art exam during lunch.... and then i got my first milking pay check that night... and then Gattaca was on TV so i saved myself the money i would have spent renting it (good movie by the way).... anyways if next week goes this smooth i'll be happy ( I have history and English exams and then am getting my wisdom teeth out on thursday)

MOO
whoa! i havn't mentioned my job yet! I've been working at a dairy farm down the road for a week already.... its nice, fairly easy work.... the only downfall is that afterwards you smell of iodine and occasionally, sour milk. I like it though and it beats working with stinky pigs ( these cows don't smell bad at all), or moving chickens with "Large Talons". I've been learning alot about cows though.... like 5 nipples cows aren't uncommon, but as far as i know you only milk the 4 regular nipples... Oh! and sometimes you only can milk three (we have one cow where this is the case)... but yeah...... MOO!

dressed up
metro
well, i guess i can be called a bit metro now, u c this started a while ago.... being an art person i wanted to carry a sketch book, unfortuatly guys don't carry bags (save for bulky backpacks) and this is unideal for carrying a big sketch book and pencils, pens etc... so i decided that i needed a bag to carry.... the most convenient and masculin one i could think of was a labtop case. This i got from a guy who gives us random stuff from garage sales. I then needed to make it cool (it had a logo for our local teachers union on it, not a cool thing in a high school), so i nintendo-ized it. I covered this logo with a triforce (from Zelda), and learned embroidery to make a super mario patch for an inside pocket. I now have an amazing bag perfect for books and my sketch book.
(here are some pics of it)
