another side note on the petra concert

i got whip-lash during jekyll and hyde.... my neck hurts

Petra Concert!

last night was the petra concert and it rocked. It was awesome, especially since i was so close up.... only one guy in a wheel chair in front of me so i got the benifit of being near the front without being so crowded... my ticket cost $20 dollars... but then i spent around $100 on merchandise... a few T-shirts, cds, stickers , etc. anyways it was great and i got all their signatures and shook the lead singer's hand. also i found another group i like, they're called farwell june, and were one of the warmup bands, they were an odd combo of music styles... sorta rock/ folk/ something else... they were great too.
well... i guess its time to say... have a tubular day

broken internet and lots of wires

so my internet stinks... country phone lines and dial up... but thats not my current problem. the phonejack my comp goes into is broke.... at first the plug in kept falling out so we'de have to jiggle it in place and dutcttape it in place.... now the jack ate the cord and when i pulled it out a bunch of wires can out with it..... so now in order to have internet i have 3 regular phone cords and 2 really long extention cords plugging it in downstairs on the other side of the house.... its a real mess, but i got my internet up and running.... a neccessity for a fog day, peace out

getting lost

most everyone have a map in there head of everywhere they've been and vage areas that they have not... for example the area around your house may be conected clearly to school and the corner store, but there is a a grey area between here and china, on the other hand east brain tree may not be on your internal map (its in saskatchewan in case its not).... you may also have a few separate pieces of map... say one of the area you grew up, and another equally clear map of say where you work but they may not be connected, such is my case.... I would have to make a guesstimate that there is approx 932 864.25 maps in my head that are arrangended as follows.... a big fat cow chewed them up, spit them out stomped on them, let them fry to a crisp in the hot sun into one random jumble and then framed them behind frosted glass... hence i get lost. If you asked me wher hamilton is in comparrison to London, i wouldn't know, nor waterloo to Toronto but there is still hope. the area around where i live is becoming clear now, the secret, getting lost. when i get lost i pass through familiar yet unknown locations and then by getting unlost learn where they are, confuzzling but it works..... maybe there is some hope but dunno if this will work between cities cuz then i'll get to lost to be unlost. anyways thats all for now have a tubular day

Just give me the credit and skip the ceremonies!

In the past few weeks I have learned of two things that I have won, the first was a cash prize for a piece of art i did that got put on a local fairs flyers (actually it got put on last years flyers and they forgot to call me) but anywasy they wanted me to got to some ceremony and accept the cash and a framed version of my art.... I want the art and money but arranged to get out of the ceremony... I'm sorta like the main youth representitave of my youth group so i couldn't miss the first meeting, which is good cuz I don't really like people making a fuss over me. Now I get a letter saying I won the Stupid math award for grade 11 mixed math, I HATE MATH!!!! the course was super easy and incredibly boring, and excrusiatingly long, fortunatly for me i'm missing the ceremony where i get that (i think) to go to Aquire the Fire (an over night youth retreat) so this all goes to prove that being in youth group is a good thing as it gets you out of boring ceremonies!
P.S. I HATE MATH WITH A GREAT PASSION OF FURY AND WISH I WOULD NEVER HAVE TO SEE ANOTHER MATH BOOK AS LONG AS I LIVE.... but awards look good for academic stuff so i'm down with that, oh well.... peace out and have a tubular day... er.... night

Petra

Petra, they're my favorite band... been around forever and are finally retiring, they're ending their farwell tour in London, and I got tickets! I'm quite excited about this as I love their music, apparently their much heavier in concert, which I think is good but my mom said they were too heavy when she say them a million years ago,.... I don't care though, it Petra and they rock!
