10 years ago: I was prob trick or treating as this is halloween after all.
5 years ago: prob trick or treating again
1 year ago: I dressed up as luigi and was at a youth event... we watched hang-man's curse
yeasterday: frantically pulling together halloween costume.... and filling out scholarship application
5 snacks I like: Pad thai, random creations i make with Kraft dinner, hot dog sandwhiches (microwaves hotdogs with cheese, spicy miraclewhip, pickles, ketchup, mustard and , when available, helluva dip(french onion)), sidekicks, and pizza pockets
5 things I would do with 100 million dollars: give lots to church, pay off parents debt, make a jello jiggle the size of an olympic swimming pool, give $100 to a random 6 year old in a walmart, and possibly buy out either a walmart or value village
5 places I would run away to: indonesia, thailand, austrailia, kenya, my nintendo
5 things I wouldn't be caught dead in: a outfit that costs 5 times its value for a advertisement to be put on the front
5 favourite shows: Lost, survivor, ER, the old ninja turtles (but i only have on old videos), first wave (no longer on air)
5 bad habits: procrastination etc...
5 biggest joys: paint, god, when my creay=tive brain overtakes the rest and makes me see funny situations (Don't ask)
5 favourite toys: paint, lego, nintendo, etc.
Tagging: maybe my clone... A friend I met once that has same first name and many many similarities.

Petra Concert!
last night was the petra concert and it rocked. It was awesome, especially since i was so close up.... only one guy in a wheel chair in front of me so i got the benifit of being near the front without being so crowded... my ticket cost $20 dollars... but then i spent around $100 on merchandise... a few T-shirts, cds, stickers , etc. anyways it was great and i got all their signatures and shook the lead singer's hand. also i found another group i like, they're called farwell june, and were one of the warmup bands, they were an odd combo of music styles... sorta rock/ folk/ something else... they were great too.
well... i guess its time to say... have a tubular day

broken internet and lots of wires
so my internet stinks... country phone lines and dial up... but thats not my current problem. the phonejack my comp goes into is broke.... at first the plug in kept falling out so we'de have to jiggle it in place and dutcttape it in place.... now the jack ate the cord and when i pulled it out a bunch of wires can out with it..... so now in order to have internet i have 3 regular phone cords and 2 really long extention cords plugging it in downstairs on the other side of the house.... its a real mess, but i got my internet up and running.... a neccessity for a fog day, peace out

getting lost
most everyone have a map in there head of everywhere they've been and vage areas that they have not... for example the area around your house may be conected clearly to school and the corner store, but there is a a grey area between here and china, on the other hand east brain tree may not be on your internal map (its in saskatchewan in case its not).... you may also have a few separate pieces of map... say one of the area you grew up, and another equally clear map of say where you work but they may not be connected, such is my case.... I would have to make a guesstimate that there is approx 932 864.25 maps in my head that are arrangended as follows.... a big fat cow chewed them up, spit them out stomped on them, let them fry to a crisp in the hot sun into one random jumble and then framed them behind frosted glass... hence i get lost. If you asked me wher hamilton is in comparrison to London, i wouldn't know, nor waterloo to Toronto but there is still hope. the area around where i live is becoming clear now, the secret, getting lost. when i get lost i pass through familiar yet unknown locations and then by getting unlost learn where they are, confuzzling but it works..... maybe there is some hope but dunno if this will work between cities cuz then i'll get to lost to be unlost. anyways thats all for now have a tubular day

Just give me the credit and skip the ceremonies!
In the past few weeks I have learned of two things that I have won, the first was a cash prize for a piece of art i did that got put on a local fairs flyers (actually it got put on last years flyers and they forgot to call me) but anywasy they wanted me to got to some ceremony and accept the cash and a framed version of my art.... I want the art and money but arranged to get out of the ceremony... I'm sorta like the main youth representitave of my youth group so i couldn't miss the first meeting, which is good cuz I don't really like people making a fuss over me. Now I get a letter saying I won the Stupid math award for grade 11 mixed math, I HATE MATH!!!! the course was super easy and incredibly boring, and excrusiatingly long, fortunatly for me i'm missing the ceremony where i get that (i think) to go to Aquire the Fire (an over night youth retreat) so this all goes to prove that being in youth group is a good thing as it gets you out of boring ceremonies!
P.S. I HATE MATH WITH A GREAT PASSION OF FURY AND WISH I WOULD NEVER HAVE TO SEE ANOTHER MATH BOOK AS LONG AS I LIVE.... but awards look good for academic stuff so i'm down with that, oh well.... peace out and have a tubular day... er.... night

Petra
Petra, they're my favorite band... been around forever and are finally retiring, they're ending their farwell tour in London, and I got tickets! I'm quite excited about this as I love their music, apparently their much heavier in concert, which I think is good but my mom said they were too heavy when she say them a million years ago,.... I don't care though, it Petra and they rock!

Moped
A Poetic Story from my Life
I bought my sisters moped
and with it i sped
to seventy-five k.m. per h.
with a helmet on my head
It was dark the other night
but i had on my shades
they stop wind and give my sight
but the dark made everything fade
I hit a patch of gravel
and then began to slide
the unseen pothole hit me
and off my moped i did fly
but it was great anyways

sick
so i'm sick today, well sorta, i'm still not 100% but i could have went to school, however i decided i can afford to take the day as i went to school yesterday when i shouldn't have. anyways a sick day means TV, Nintendo and working on my comic, , as well as a list of chores my mom leaves, not chores because i'm sick but figures that i should do them now rather than later, so basically means i can chillax later, which is cool, anyways i g2g, got many more lazy things to do, peace out and have a tubular day (that phrase gets repeditive after a while doesn't it) bye
see you at the pole
so i ran this event where all us christians meet at the school flag pole and pray for our school and it was great we had bout 10 kids.... pretty good for the first time in several years. its funny though what you learn about people you don't really know, that day b4 the event i made myself a walking billboard (as i often do) that is i tape a flyer on the front of my shirt and hand out more when pple try to read it, so i'm sitting there waiting for my ride to come after year book and BAM! the janitor comes up and starts talking to me, turns out hes a christian and used to teach sunday school, cool thing to know, i guess i never thought about the janitors' lives outside work, man makes you wonder about all the other pple you pass each day that you know nothing about

today is today
well today is today and today would be the day that it is... today would be a day with rain (which is totally tubular) and today would be a day of KOOL-AIDE. Why a day of KOOL-AIDE you may ask, the answer is it just is.... for years i've... well, we (my whole family) have been pathetically collecting points from the package of this overley sugarry dye that we don't drink that often.... the company of this crystalized pigment of sweet delight is clever... or were anyways... u see everytime we almost have enough points for something decent they up how many points you need.... at one point we got up to 85 and the most worthwhile pointless prize was 100 and then BAM! everything shot up, now the worthless crap at the bottom was 250 points instead of 25... and over the years we lostr several sheets but now, yes now, that corporation of sugary trickery made a fatal flaw, once which will enable me to get............
..................
...................
....................
some worthless prize that is not their worst. in an attempt to promote their invisible juice they put 100 points on every package.... i bought 8.... that is 800 points along with the 200 i already had brings me to 1000 points and enough for a prize.... YIPEEEEE!
anyways thats all for now peace out and have a totally tubular day

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
a sream or terror or joy? i'm not sure.... maybe i'm just in limbo. School starting, life back to normal, living at home, old friends, camp friends far away, free from the braeside bubble, missing the bubble, AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! but on the reverse side of things i've come to a big realization, There is always a link (at least most of the time) between all social groups, or maybe not..... still testing this, (don't worry its not like i'm going to start listening to normal music or learn the names or celebrities I'm just going to be more social)...... so ya, school good? bad? dunno and frankly I'm too split between my 2 worlds (braeside and home; three worlds if you count the one in my head) to really care at this point. so for now what is, is and whatever will be, will be..... i'll just try to be oblivious to my situation (hath worked thus far) and relax by recalling the phrase "Sun is warm. Grass is green." slowly and multiple times, peace out yall and may thou always remember life is boring if you look at it that way and totally Tubular if you choose to be happy, peace out

so saturday was my sisiter's wedding (went great), sunday was my parents' 25 anniversary celebration and today (monday) i've been running around playing with my little cousins from edmonton..... i've had a very, very busy break from work.... man.... i.... can't.... wait... for.... school..... i figure once this busy hloday from school ends i'll be free, wait a sec..... then i'll have a buttload of homework and stuff, plus i'm wanting to get a job, crap...... i'll rest when i'm dead cuz once i'm done with school and work, who wants to waste their retirement sitting around, therefore no rest ever just work and play like a mad donkey... now that should be in a fortune cookie!

exams, let the fun begin
so now i'm into exams..... todays the first day, got english one in 2 hours.... and it is great. i didn't really start yet, that is havn't written any or done some serious cramming. for some reason i'm completely relaxed. Now it has come to pass that i'm expected to act bizzar for this week, i always do during exams. I dress in capes, jedi robes, african outfits, whatever.... you see i ooften have an urg to wear these during the rest of the year but don't.... if i wore a cape whenever i felt like it i would wear one almost everyday. During exams i've made it a tradition to dress wierd, next year however i think i may just sew a few more capes and where them all the time.... today is a full african outfit i got from my grandpa its the most comfortable thing ever, man it feels great to be a freak!

school
school is busy, yes indeed. with there only being around a week left teachers are in a panic. you see this is one of the problems with the new curriculum.... you can't fit it all in one year. so teachers are dropping chapters and units, and assigning projects like there is no tommorrow. I present my isp for eng. 2day, its on dr.suess, so it was a fun project to do and will be very easy, after exams i'm gone for braeside, a camp where i'll be working all summer so i prob won't getr a chance to post much more... cya

Hidden Heroes
so i'm working in our school play (a super hero comedy), doing lights, and its is terrible work... you see one of the kids helps to run a haunted house at halloween and brought in a bunch of stuff to use, some set pieces , special lights and a fog machine or 2. Now these are all good and look amazing but there are 3 problems with fog, first it reakes, second you can't breath in it, and third it rises. After a one hour performance my lighting booth above the stage has no air..... and after a 7.5 hour practice i was gasping for air. it is for this reason that i now hate fake fog.

thunder, Rain, and stupid lights
A few things going on right now, i'm part of a running crew for a school play and there has been a few thunder storms, I love thunder storms. They are, however a pain when your a few feet away from a gym roof, as i was in a previous rehersal for they play when i was operating lights, Both heavy rain andthunder can be LOUD!!! I had no idea how hard it could be to hear what was going on on stage, needless to say i missed a few cues, and some scenes went in total darkness, good thing it was only a rehersal.

overflow
so I went to this christian youth convention called overflow, it was great. Good concerts, some moshing and an excellent speaker. I ran into some amazing people there, oldfriends and new. I had 5 people ask to get photos taken with me over the weekend ( which breaks last years record of 3) due to me wearing a cape and my incredibly cool hair (starwars padawan, jedi in training, style, wih the braid and pony tail) Anyways the whole event was amazing. I even lost my ell phone in a mosh pit but found it after the concert was done.

shirts
My friend B-rad showed up at school today with 7 shirts on! see hes as wierd as me in that way, but his weirdness comes and goes mine is more constant. His reasoning for all the shirts was padding, you see hanging out with a buch of guys can lead to constant punching and shoving, etc... so he came prepared. Our school, trying to make an easy buck, is selling all the old beat up unwanted sport teams' uniforms, they claim that its a "Retro" thing, Please there is retro and there is plain exploitation of a cool thing, anyways other people bought him some shirts and he endind up with 11 shirts on, (half of which girls spandex jerseys) , well g2g yall

band trip
so our school's senior band went on our annual trip yesterday. we went to toronto, which is fun but not the most exciting place as we've all been there before, anyways we did a lot of fun stuff. we went to the distillery district, where all the girls got excited cuz some actor crossed a side walk nearby. and we went to a taping of much on demand ( i was in the audience, so now i can say i've been on tv..... I was the geek with the jedi haircut and big square glasses) and we went to this really cool african drumming session, it was amazing but my hands were really sore afterwards. and then they switched busses with all our stuff on them so we had to find the old bus and get all our stuff back. and that was basically the trip. It was great.

I decided to shoot the neighbor's cross bow, BAD IDEA never ever give me something possibly dangerous i'm a danger to myself, the string hit my thumb and now its swollen, but I did hit the target ( : Memo to self: remember this and play nintendo next time.

Kiwanis
So I just got back from this music festival thingy for band (I play oboe, which although it sounds like a dying duck is cool) Our band got silver, the 2 other bands tonight got bronze (the awards are weird they go by some international marking scheme) anyways it was a trophy class but it went to a school that played this afternoon and got gold.
actually going back to monday our school wood wind ensemble also won a silver. We have like 6 people ( 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets) and the only other group in our category was an actual class of 20 people. They put our lunch hour group to shame they had 6 regular clarinets, a bass clarinet, a contra bass clarinet, and an alto clarinet..... our school doesn't even own the last 2. anyways they got a gold, but we still hold the title of best highschool wood wind enseble in the area without a conductor..... Eat that!
anyways thats all for now...... cyall

Rain
I love rain. I love it. I love it.I love it. Its raining right now, and if I weren't too lazy I would run around in it, but since its the weekend i won't bother. this reminds me of something I did a while ago... It was the beggining of october i think and it was raining, alot. It was my lunch break and I observed that the back parking lot was flooding. you see there's a big storm drain but its always clogged with random rubbish so a lake forms behind vthe shcool. I decided to go swimming. The water was cold but nice, although it did smell a bit funny, anyways I jumped around in this 3 foot deep puddle for about an hour and then went to class. It was media english ( possible the most boring class there could be, or maybe it was just the teacher) and the teacher was rambling on and on and on, she talked for 20 min or so and thengave us some work to do. soon after I had started working she told me to look at the floor, I was sorta confuzzled at first but then I saw a small river flowing across the florr. its source: my shoes Fortunatly i had a towel in my locker from a skit i was doing that day in ancient history but I think i am the only one in my school to ever create a river in a class room by accident. I should probably get off the internet as i'm tying up the phone line, I'll leave you with this advice if you decide to play in the rain take off your shoes because they're stupid anyways.
who I am.
I am a geek. A true geek. and nothing but a geek. but thats not entirely true. I am a bit nerdy. so therefore I am a nerdy geek. Proof that i'm a geek: a have a padawan haircut (for those of you who aren't at all geeky a padawan in a jedi, from starwars, in training) thats right I have a braid and a ponytail. the braid i've been growing for 3 years now and its becoming quite long. Proof that I'm nerdy.... I know what a manicori is. do you?
So thats a bit about me but there is some other stuff you may want to know. I live in the middle of nowhere, and i mean in the boonies, like not even in a hamlet, in the middle of nowhere. I'm in highschool and would like to remain in highschool until i retire, but i guess i'll need to go to university to get a teaching degree to do that. anyways thats me and this little blog in where I intend to write down all the little things that happen to me. so sit down, relax and read about the life of a geek.
